"While the park itself isn't that massive, and there isn't a lot to do there that you already can't do at other parks (especially the nearby Starlight Park), it is still a nice park to visit just for the sights alone. Looking up at what used to be the old concrete plant is like going through a mini-museum for free; especially since the sight of the abandoned Westchester Avenue AMTrack station is near the entrance, decent seats and great views of the Bronx River. You can see the Whitlock Avenue station from the park; as well as the bridge overpass that goes across Westchester Avenue. The AMTrack runs on rails parallel to the park and is, overall, just a nice park to do a quick visit to."
