Looking for fall foliage hike suggestions (Nov 7–10)

"I didn’t even realize this park was there until a few wks ago-I have rode past the entrance for almost 2 yrs! It has a very well maintained restroom with water fountains, nice walking trails through the woods and lake access, picnic tables. Very dog friendly area!"

"Very nice park with a surprising amount of trails in the system. For easy access to the river proceed through the first parking lot and down the hill. Note to first timers: don't park under walnut trees in the fall and no swimming in the river.
Highly recommend!!"

"Parked in the lower parking lot at the river- has shade. Checked out the canoe/kayak launch and found it is a very good spot to launch from. Red trail off the parking area which hugs the river, but is hard to see in the summer with all the trees, but thankful for them for the shade. I decided to leave the red and take the blue, to the green, and connect back to red near the parking lot. Easy trails, nice and wide, and dense pines. After doing this loop, I rather continue on the red trail hugging the river. My route was okay, but may not be the best for summertime. Trails are marked, but could be better because intersections for an alternate blue were not marked. I studied the map well enough so I’m glad I did that beforehand."
