Diners praise Boathouse 1887 Glorietta Bay for its stunning waterfront views, fresh seafood, and exceptional sourdough bread. The lively atmosphere and dog-friendly patio are also significant draws. However, some visitors note that sushi options can be inconsistent, and the key lime pie may not live up to expectations.
"My husband and I come to dine in several times. The first time was several years ago when we just moved in San Diego. We were attracted by the architecture and feeling like seafoods, so we decided to give a try. Everything is pretty good! I remember we had grilled fish, fried calamari and maybe salad. We loved here. This time we were not that hungry so I had a salad and my hubby had a fish taco, both are very good! The service is nice and fast. The view is amazing by the water, the atmosphere is great!"

"Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Service was slightly below expectations but the happy hour menu made up for that! If you're a sushi aficionado I'd recommend staying away from that here, their seafood is great. Will definitely return"
Sohrab H
"All the seafood here was cooked to perfection, but unfortunately lacking in flavor. Cozy atmosphere and very attentive servers. The sourdough was AMAZING! Probably one of the best i’ve ever had."
