"The Hotel del Coronado is one of San Diego’s most iconic landmarks. Built in 1888, it’s a masterpiece of Victorian architecture and a window into California’s elegant past. I didn’t stay overnight, but I visited in May 2025 and was truly impressed.
The building itself is stunning, with its red-turreted roof, beachfront setting, and beautifully preserved details. Walking through the public areas and the surrounding grounds gives you a real sense of its historic charm and grandeur. The beach is wide and inviting, and the ocean views are breathtaking.
It’s definitely worth a visit—even just for a coffee, a walk through the grounds, or to enjoy the atmosphere. A place where history and beauty meet in a truly special way."
