Reviews Summary
Crown King is a beloved historic mining town offering a rustic escape and a glimpse into Arizona's past. Visitors praise its charming General Store, friendly locals, and the adventurous drive. However, limited services, challenging road access, and inconsistent ice supply are noted drawbacks.
"Hello from Prescott/Bagdad(born and raised). It's all to perception but in mine... This is a Gem of a place, Crown King. Love this environment. Talked to Jerry at the store. Great guy. Yesterday talked to Trinity at the Saloon, great gal. Mom is married to guy who owns the cabins. Much respect for the community after hearing how things work here. No trash service and for food services from what one of locals shared with me.. they haul and stock their own making trip to PHX on Mondays and Tuesdays. Great lil town. A must visit and stay at the cabins. Best time to visit is Mon thru Friday. Unless you like a crowd. Gets busy on Saturdays. I don't know about Sundays. Great place to get away. Nice and quiet. Store opens at 8am. MJs opens at 10am and I believe the Saloon opens at 11am.
We ate at MJs and had their burgers and appetizers. And the steak salad."

Gerry and Sandy, what a hoot,Gerry is hysterical and you got to love Sandy! She made some of the best fudge I have ever eaten. Love this little store. It is a one stop shop. It’s great to have good people at good businesses that have hysterical inventory at good prices.
I WOULD RECOMMEND!"
