"A beautiful modernist structure with a mirrored facade which stands 220m high and is the 5th tallest building in Dallas,TX. An elegant and noticeable feature of the city's skyline with prism like top that looks different from every angle. The true hidden gem at Fountain Place Fountain Plaza located at the base of the building. A soft contrast to the angular building above and a beautiful, clean and peaceful place to cool off, walk around or just sit and enjoy the serenity of the 172 dancing fountains. It is especially pretty at night when the fountains are lit up."

"I remember when Fountain Place was under construction in the 1980's. Actually - 1984 and it opened in 1986. It is a 60 story building and it is the fifth tallest building in Dallas.
The beautiful fountains are around and "under the building" as you can see by the pictures. The building is open for foot traffic underneath at the entryway. Very unique! Modernist and Lovely! A walking tour with Facebook brought to the Fountains to take a bunch of pictures to share the beauty with you all!"
