What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Nasher Sculpture Center for its beautiful and serene outdoor sculpture garden, which offers a peaceful escape. The rotating indoor exhibitions are also appreciated for showcasing diverse contemporary art. While some find the indoor spaces a bit sparse, the overall experience is considered a relaxing and worthwhile cultural stop in Dallas.
"Go here, take a friend just don’t let them run through the grass, it freaks people out! Free Saturday walkabout for an out of town art lover, making her way in the arts district. I went solo but it has a kissable, hand holding vibe. The Nasher can only continue to grow from the somewhat earnest sapling nature to a sequoia (apologies Texas the biggest trees are in California) towering over and dominating Dallas culture. For me, I’d say “The Bronze Age, responsible for the wheel, writing systems, irrigation and the Nasher!"

"The lovely Nasher Sculpture Center in the Dallas Arts District hosts their “Til Midnight” event once a month between March and October. It’s free entry to the gallery and the sculpture center, live music, and a family-friendly movie. The museum usually closes at 5. I have been dozens of times and seen a lot of cool stuff here. The gallery always rotates so there is something new to see! The docents are very nice!"

"I went with my family during the Free First Saturdays event and we had a blast. There were interesting sculptures and the outdoor great as well. It’s not too big, but has enough pieces to engage and to spark your imagination. Love it!"
