"Red Mountain Trail is one of our all-time favorite hikes in the area! I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, and it’s just as enjoyable every time. It’s an easy, family-friendly trail that’s beautiful year-round. The views are stunning, and we love having picnics at the top in the sand and white rocks—perfect for kids!"

"Great hike. My goal was to hike the trail for 5 miles and then head east across the slickstone to check out Hanging Pool and return.
At 1.6 miles I turned left onto a small trail shown on the map. At 1.9 miles I turned left onto a horse trail, not shown on the map. The horse trail had two marked areas that had stunning views of the valley. The horse trail linked up with the foot trail at the Snow Canyon Overlook. I continued on to Hanging Pool."

"Such a beautiful hike up to the overlook. The entire day was perfect with beautiful weather, and the end views were nothing short of amazing. So glad I stopped on a whim!"
