Dauphin Island; things to do, places to eat/shop
Hey everyone, I was recently accepted into a research opportunity on Dauphin Island and I’m having some concerns that aren’t letting me accept it quite yet. I checked google maps and it looks like there’s NO real supermarkets less than a 30 minute drive away, and I wouldn’t…

The knowledgeable and friendly staff are frequently highlighted as a key reason for the positive experience, making it a top choice for families and anyone interested in marine life. "Our family had a blast at dauphin island sea lab this weekend. Taylor was the scientist on the boat that shows everything from phytoplankton, to squids, sea robins and bioluminescent comb jellies! And then, JoAnn was incredible with the student the rest of the weekend. She is very knowledgeable and also good at communicating with students. My kids learned so much this weekend and talked about so many details the whole ride home! I’m thankful for this resource in the state of Alabama. I hold to my statement from the first time we went in 2019. This is the BEST field trip in the state of Alabama! (And I’m a girl who has wanted to be an astronaut since first grade!)
Take your kids! Ask for Taylor annd Joann, it is important!"
