"Nahant Marsh has a wide variety of activities. The bird blind is a good place to see waterfowl. I have seen Blue Herons, Great Egrets, Wood Ducks, Green Winged teals, American Coots and other ducks. Of course you can see Canada Geese and Mallards. The hiking trails are easy. Depending on when you visit yo can see butterflies, dragon flies, grasshoppers and moths. There are also a wide variety of wild flowers. I have seen Bald Eagles and Osprey while walking by the dock. The Education Center has a nice variety of live animals to observe and the staff is friendly."
