"MY FIRST TIME IN THIS STATION WAS 9/4/25' AND I ARRIVED TO THE STATION WITH MY TICKET IN MY EMAIL ON MY PHONE,ALTHOUGH I NEEDED TO ASK QUESTIONS !
THE WOMAN BEHIND THE COUNTER seemed to be apathetic and intentionally ignoring me.
I HAD QUESTIONS AND SHE KEPT IGNORING ME AND TURNING HER BACK ON ME.
THERE WAS NO ANNOUNCEMENT SPEAKER INSIDE THE STATION OR A SCREEN SAYING THE TRAIN SCHEDULE,ETC.,ONLY A SCREEN OUTSIDE W/ A SMALL SPEAKER,AND IT WAS VERY HOT MIDDAY,WHICH KEPT ME INSIDE THE STATION GETTING COOL AIR CONDITIONING FOR SOME RELIEF FROM THE HEAT:I MISSED THE TRAIN WHICH WAS ALREADY DELAYED OVER A HALF HOUR.
I REALLY NEEDED TO GET ON THAT TRAIN;THE WOMAN took her lunch break just at the time I Needed answers,without anyone else taking her place behind the counter:the window was closed !
ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS ASK QUESTIONS AND GET INFORMATION.
I DID MY BEST TO TRY TO IGNORE HER ATTITUDE IN ALL THIS.
SHE WAS UNKIND TO ME DURING THE HOUR+ I WAS IN THERE.

"I'm getting frustrated that 9 times out of 10 when I need to buy a ticket in the station, they've had to close early.
I have to use 2 types of payment to buy what I need so I can't do it online or at the kiosk. I'll take the train that arrives at about 3:45pm and they will already be closed. Today I left work 2 hours early so I could buy my ticket in plenty of time before they would leave, and they put up a sign that they left. Very frustrating.
Amtrak, please either let me use 2 forms of payment online, or staff the station!
