"This park was awesome. We'll be back. Don't trust your GPS, trust the meriad of signage. Great views, many deer, and squirrels the size of a Volkswagen. Trails were challenging but didn't kill us."
John and Jody Vossen
"While it was pretty & peaceful, the lack of trail markings was very discouraging. One of the trails was marked Le's loop, but that doesn't appear on the city map I had or the maps on the signs. I'm from out of state so it was very difficult to find my way back to the parking lot.
I did see deer & heard a barred owl off in the distant. And even though there were several other hikers & bikers on the trails, I still felt like I had the place to myself because there are so many trails."
Kris Dresdow
"Follow the Hugginโs Loop (1.7 miles) to see the Decorah Crater landmark.
Trash can at the parking lot but no restrooms."
