"My year and a half puppy loves Del Mar dog beach! From 6am-8am parking is free, and there are a ton of sweet dogs to play with. Dogs must be on-leash during the summer but starting Labor Day, they are allowed off leash. My dog is deathly afraid of the water but the sandy area is huge, so he has plenty of room to run around and walk up and down the beach. Del Mar is beautiful and the beach is full of dogs that are having the time of their lives!"
