"Was here first in 2021 when the old bridge was still fully there. Today in 2025 I returned and it had a nice makeover. The path is now fully paved, no more gravel. About half of the high bridge has been replaced with a concrete walkway which is fenced off at the end. The remaining rotting trestle remains but is dangerous and not at all recommended to try.

"Nicely paved asphalt trail that ends on the newly renovated Monon High Bridge. The "old" bridge is no longer accessible to walk on, just to see and enjoy the river views from above. Not a lot of people while I visited which made it even more enjoyable."
