Any advice for avoiding the rush hour of 19th Ave. and US 1?

"I was looking to find out about living communities by the Platte River. My driver and I ended up west of downtown away from the noise and activity at noontime. We ended up by the Platte River, at a secluded area, where people a can view the river without being around a lot of people. There is a small park, but not a lot of space for a lot of people. I liked the small bridge that crossed over the river. The view was nice, looking at the moving water splashing overhead rocks. There was access to the river bank, in order to walk on the path by the the river. This place is nice for a quick get away from downtown, to eat a snack or to enjoy the scenery, in a car or on a bench, if you can find a place to park or sit. When the weather is cool, this place is cozy and pleasant for introverts, and artists. This place is not meant to be crowded, but peaceful."

"No, there is nothing "touristy" here except a beautiful plot of land on the edge of downtown. This is a historic area with the bridge having been built in 1888. There is a brick road nearby with old buildings that have been turned into offices. Also nearby is an old flour mill that have been converted to lofts. A very beautiful space on the edge of the city."
