The museum's dedication to showcasing over 95% of Still's work offers a unique, in-depth experience. While some note restrictions on food and drink, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the knowledgeable staff and the immersive artistic environment.
"This museum is fantastic! Such knowledgeable guides and a wealth of information and experience about Clifford Still; a father of abstract expressionism. They house over 95% of his lifetime of work and regularly change exhibits so that you can always go back to see more of his paintings. Such a wonderful experience. To eat, you must go outside even if you’ve packed your own food. No water allowed inside exhibit halls unless carefully stowed away (and not removed). You can’t get a sense of the enormity of what he did from photos alone. You must visit in person. The architecture was also a lovely experience. Make sure you get the brochure about that too. Enjoy!"

The layout is thoughtful and intimate, allowing visitors to engage with the artwork without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
The collection is beautifully curated, showcasing Still’s artistic evolution, from early representational works to his groundbreaking abstract expressionist pieces. Each gallery tells a story, offering context and insight into the artist’s philosophy, technique, and vision.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, eager to answer questions and provide deeper background on Still’s work and legacy. Their passion for the art truly enhanced the visit."
