"I absolutely love visiting this American poetβs home! Learning about his childhood and history in the area help me understand his point of view. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and able to answer questions. The estate is beautiful and there is a wonderful walking path around the property dotted with poetic sign markers."
Rebecca Reed
"The tour guide went above and beyond in sharing interesting information. The place isn't that big, 2 hours is plenty of time, but it is interesting."
Barbara Berwick
"Had a lovely visit here in the fall! The house is full of great photos, excepts, and historical information. The staff/guide was very friendly and helpful. Bought a book as a gift for a very reasonable price! It is free to visit, but donations are welcome, which I gladly contributed. The area is in excellent shape. We enjoyed strolling along the trail around and through the woods. There were poems throughout and relevant to the locations. Plenty of parking and easy to get to! If you want to eat before or after, I recommend the Bacon Barn not too far away!"
