We also thought gloves might not be necessary at first, but we’re so glad we bought them and totally worth it for grip and comfort! We also picked up a phone case necklace which let us take a few pics along the way without stressing about our phones.
We had an amazing time. We’re pretty athletic, but the course was still a challenge and not so much physically, but definitely mentally, especially when you’re climbing up to levels 4 or 5 and zip-lining across roads! 😅

"This was my third time at GoApe and it' definitely won't ne my last. I love this place and it's such a wonderful outdoor activity. From the time you check in to the time you leave you are greeted by a warm and friendly staff. They are so accommodating and there's no pressure at all. They get you all set and take you through the safety briefs then you are off to your fun and adventure. The courses and views are great. You'll need to bring your strength and a great attitude with you to climb the ladders and nets. I can't say anything negative about this experience and to have this access in Maryland is great. The pricing for what you get isn't bad either. Overall great experience and I will recommend to others who love the outdoors."
