"Always love to visit historical cemetery, another way of learning the locals. The best part of this one, may grand grand sons and daughters of Des Moines first generation narate the history. Definitely use your phone to scan these QR codes next to the tombstones. They will led me to many history telling videos to listen while I was just wondering in this hilly place. After the walk, go cross the street and stop by the Gateway market, a bit like trader Joe's, friendly staff and lovely fresh food. Love their sushi session. You can also sit down in their cafe to enjoy a quick bite."
