What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Fisher Theatre for its breathtaking Art Deco architecture and the high quality of Broadway productions it hosts. The historic ambiance and the overall experience of attending a show are frequently highlighted as positives, though some note that upper-level seating might offer less ideal views.
"The Fisher Building is a Detroit icon and absolutely stunning inside and out. The Art Deco design, gold-tiled roof, and hand-painted ceilings are incredible. Don’t miss the Fisher Theatre as a place to walk through or stop in at a few of the shops inside."

"I always dress up going to the Fisher Theatre in Detoit. It's like stepping back in time with its incredible architecture and early century design and mosaics. The building is truly a gem of the city. The theatre itself is not huge so every seat is a good seat. I have found I prefer to be on the main floor but have enjoyed the mezzanine many times. The staff is curtious and serious about respecting the stage and ask of all to be in their seats when the performance begins. I highly recommend doing this, and if you're running late, have your tickets up on your phone. I have been loving Broadway in Detroit and so far have seen Hairspray, les miserables, and Book of Morman. All have been top notch and really something to try if you haven't already."

"Great experience here for the Diana Krall concert. Security and check in was hassle free, the ushers were more than helpful, and the building is beautiful and well maintained."
