"Our family loves going here! The restoration is unbelievable, and the coffee shop has the best donuts. We visited during the auto show and then ventured into train station - 5 stars. Beautiful building that celebrates its rich history and is built for the future. Well done, Detroit 👍🏽"

"Amazing restoration! So glad Ford thought to revive this beautiful piece of history. Plenty of seating to hang out. Make sure to go through the shop and look at all the artifacts they recovered and read about their origins. The shop has cool and unique merchandise for gifts/souvenirs. Only one place so far to get food - the coffee and donut shop at the entrance - it has some non donut options. The study is beautiful as are the restrooms. Plenty of free parking around."

"Five stars for Michigan Central — a space that’s as much about history as it is about the future. Once an iconic but abandoned train station, it stood as a symbol of Detroit’s decline for decades. Today, after an incredible restoration, it’s been transformed into a vibrant hub for innovation, community, and culture.
The architecture alone is worth the trip — historic details beautifully preserved, paired with modern spaces designed for collaboration. Beyond the visual wow factor, Michigan Central offers unique assets to both guests and the community: public gathering areas, cultural programming, tech labs, and a shared sense of pride that radiates through the building.
It’s not just a renovation — it’s a rebirth, and a shining example of what happens when a city invests in preserving its past while building its future."
