"When I arrived at the Westin Cadillac Detroit I was greeted right from the start by the wonderful bell staff. These guys must have helped me a dozen time with questions about Detroit, where to go, where to eat, directions, etc. Special shout out to Moe. They would never accept my attempts to tip them. They just seemed really happy to help and always made me smile. The front desk is beyond efficient and when I lost my belongings, they jumped into action to track them down for me. Thanks to Val! Housekeeping made sure my room was immaculate and I had all the supplies I needed at all times. The food and beverage servers were so kind and hard working. You could tell they took pride in their work and would respond to any request as they seamlessly handled our busy convention. The wide variety of foods, and the fact that they had lots of options for vegans and gluten free folks was so impressive. Our bartender was a charming person who made sure we felt comfortable hanging out for while in the Motor Bar. My room (1118) surpassed all expectations. I can't imagine a more comfortable bed or nicer linens. I would like to have a bedroom like this lovely King room (they could have a little brighter lighting). It was so convenient having an iron and iron board in my room. The design element of this hotel fit in perfectly with the art deco style of Detroit's legendary architecture and the location was ideal for walking to the parks, restaurants and the riverfront. I love the Westin Cadillac and can't wait to return."

"Four nights at this beautiful property in downtown Detroit. It's close to all the things in the city and I had a fabulous stay. My Titanium status got me an upgrade to the 23rd floor and I was able to access the Westin Club there, which is what they call their concierge lounge. Free snacks and breakfast was available.
My room was at the end of the hallway and supremely quiet except for one loud drunk bunch returning at midnight who were talking loudly and slammed their door. Otherwise all good.
The room was comfortable and clean with plenty of space for spreading out my stuff. The bed was also comfortable though the "Westin mattress" is showing some wear.
Sullivan's in the lobby is rather expensive. There's also a Starbucks in the lobby.
I'll be back in Detroit soon enough. I'll be aiming for this hotel."
