"My go to lake for 16yrs and counting, prices are decent, lake is big enough to cruise, fish or water sports, the swimming lagoon is great for the kids or families wanting a place to hang out for the day, has plenty of camping spots by or away from the water. We usually start tent camping in April which is pretty in the spring. Don pedro is my happy place."

"We have been camping at Don Pedro Reservoir for many years. This is the most water we've seen so far. Our campsite was perfectly located near the lake across the house boats. We had just enough tree cover to survive the 90+ weather. We actually had enough flat areas to pitch a few 3 person and 6 person tents. The fire ant population continued to pester our camp through the duration of our stay despite our meticulous cleanliness. Bugs and mosquito swarms came at dusk and early morning. Close access to the lake gave us plenty of entertainment and opportunity to cool off. One thing at our site that was annoying: the fire ring was too close to our camp table. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and will return again next year. We hope the water line will be high again."
