"This is an awesome place. We visited for the first time this weekend, and was just amazed at how much is packed inside. The museum is only open on Saturday, and is free, although donations are requested. It is a very interesting and informative place, with many different kinds of objects on display. A docent takes you around and gives you a tour of the rooms, while explaining the items and giving very detailed background. Our tour guide, Kyle, gave us so much information. He really knows his stuff! This clearly a labor of love for those who volunteer here. A highlight is the weapons room. This is a hidden gem of places here in Doylestown/Bucks County. I cannot recommend visiting enough."

"This museum and library has been on my bucket list for some time now and it was well worth the stop. It's located at 150 Pine Street in Doylestown down the street from the Court House. I came here with 4 friends and we took the tour of the 4 room museum. For a small place they have some very interesting pieces like the carbon copier/music box that was in the Lincoln White House. They have a varied collection of art work prints and figurines. Military uniforms and weaponry. Our volunteer tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging as well of two other volunteers. The two female friends found it interesting too as their was a section for females who secretly served in the military, Mrs. LINCOLN and Belle Boyd a notorious Confederate spy. Stop in took less than an hour it's interesting and they can use your support."

"While short on square footage, they make up for it by filling every inch of available space. Two floors of artifacts and books. The tour guide we had was a Sons of the Union Veterans member and extremely knowledgeable (and passionate). A great free local gem of a place to spend about an hour at."
