What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Castle Valley Park is appreciated for its natural creek access, making it a good spot for fishing and cooling off. Visitors enjoy the short trail loop and picnic areas. However, the park's unpaved and poorly marked trails, limited parking, and presence of poison ivy are common drawbacks.
"Castle Valley has about 1 hidden trail. Parking is limited. This would be a great hidden gem for fishers. However for trail lovers like myself, I would not go there after a rainstorm. The trail is unpaved and rather hard to find where the bridge begins and ends. When parking to find the trail you walk and then there is a steep hill to the bridge trail. I would not suggest wearing nice sneakers. This would be better if they had some sort of sign to show the path, you don't really know where it begins and ends. The water is nice for a nice spring day."

"Path to multiple water access points. Lots of poison ivy. The path to gravel beach is not well maintained. Prime place to cool off on a hot day."
