Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) for its stunning Lake Superior location and the variety of events it hosts, from concerts to sports. The helpfulness of the staff and the convenience of the skywalk system are also frequently highlighted. However, some note the venue's large size can be overwhelming, requiring early arrival to navigate effectively.
"It's a very large building so I recommend arriving early to your event so you can get oriented. It's a long walk from one side of DECC to the other. Lake superior is on one side of of the building (east side) where you can see the ships sailing and watch the waves. If you walk along the lake (a little north east) to a metal blue bridge (east end of the ship) you can easily get to Park Point for shopping and sit down restaurants."

"I took my 14yr old son to his first concert at the DECC. It was my third time seeing Redman & Method Man. The show was great, but the staff was something else. I will remember how nice and engaging they were for a long time, granted most people had grey hair in the crowd. My son had questions, and they answered. The building, it is just pure hockey and it's perfect because we're a hockey family. I was able to park in the garage, walk across the Skywalk, and BAM, right into the venue. I highly recommend seeing a concert there, and I'm sure the hockey games are just as fun and welcoming."
