"WONDERFUL experience! The hotel is amazing and we felt like we were treated like family by the staff. Every need was met, including suggestions for meals, helping with reservations, and even arranging transportation. Add a beautiful upstairs terrace, fun historic elevator, sitting areas to people watch or borrow a book to read, comfortable beds, PLUS hot tea/coffee and fresh cookies in the lobby? I'm not sure what more we could ask for! They even took a selfie with us!"

"Loved this stay. The staff was amazing as was the history. We stayed in the Palace Wing and got to hear and see the trains. That was a bonus for us, but good to keep in mind. The bed was comfy. No complaints."

Now to what sets this hotel apart from others. The staff were amazing! All of the staff is very nice, welcoming, and courteous. Chandler is the one who helped us the most. He was able to take some time to show us around and make us feel welcomed.
If we are ever back in Durango, we will definitely stay here!"
