Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Million Dollar Highway for its absolutely breathtaking, unparalleled mountain scenery, calling it one of the most beautiful drives in America. However, many also highlight its terrifying nature due to steep drop-offs and lack of guardrails, advising caution and preparedness. The Rusty Shovel Saloon receives positive mentions for its food and atmosphere, though some find local patrons to be snobbish.

"Food was great, friendly atmosphere. The brisket sandwich was awesome! You had your choice of brisket or pulled pork. The cook said he was running low on brisket and he likes to pile it on good, would we mind if he put pork on it too, of course we didn't. He wasn't kidding lots of meat, really good sandwich. Definitely recommend eating at the Rusty Shovel Saloon. You won't be disappointed. The Harley Dealer is right there also, you can visit the dealer and enjoy a meal one stop shop."

Regina Svoboda

"Mid day when running errands I will often stop at (forgive me) the “Harley Bar”. The food, service and atmosphere are local and there’s plenty of free parking."

OffGridColorado

"The girls who work there are nice and friendly. The owner and some people who hang out there are extremely stuck up snobs. They have huge over inflated egos and get upset over tiny little things. In Durango there's a whole lot of stuck up snobs, I guess that's why I don't fit in too well. Durrrrrrrrrrango"
