What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Easton Cemetery for its breathtaking beauty, immaculate upkeep, and rich historical significance. The parklike landscape and diverse funeral artwork are frequently highlighted as major draws, offering a unique and contemplative experience. While vast, the well-maintained grounds and the opportunity to explore history make it a highly recommended destination.
"A very lovely cemetery where 40,000+ people are laid to rest. First opened in 1849. It spans 84 acres with 9 miles of paved paths. There is a monument that was erected in 1885 for $20,000. That in today's money is close to $650k. I couldn't find much about the person other than he was a doctor. The grounds are well kept. A lot of history here to check out, even bring the kids. Death is part of life for everyone no matter who you are. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. When you zoom in on cremated human remains it looks like star dust."

"There are many words & things that could be said about The Historic Easton Cemetery but I think only one singular word can really sum it up & that word is BEAUTIFUL! It's walkable, admirable, & a very large cemetery to peruse around! WELL WORTH THE TIME & ENERGY! The cemetery is also immaculately maintained! I mean there are graves from the 1800's time 🕙 period that are still decipherable & that's just IMPRESSIVE!"
