"This is a 2.7 acre park between Main and West 1st Street in Edmond. It is one of the older city parks being created in 1932 and named after former Mayor or Edmond W.A. Chitwood (1889-1945). There is a child-friendly rocket playground along with open grass and covered picnic area. The park is very simple, a nice spot for recreation for those living in the surrounding blocks."

"Big playground and open field area. This park is a whole block. It has a very large playground with multiple slides, climbing toys, and a zip line. There are a couple of restrooms, several picnic tables and a pavilion with grills. There is a full sized basketball court and a sidewalk around the perimeter of the park. There is even a loaner library cabinet for books. It is just across the street from Barnett Field splash pad. This is a really great place for kids to play."

"One of Edmonds busiest parks. There is a very large kids playground with rock climbing wall and at least 4 slides coming out of a space themed rocket ship jungle gym. The entire area of the park takes up an entire block, with the playground at the SW corner, a basketball court on the NE corner, a pavilion on the SE corner and a couple old fashioned concrete picnic tables on the NW corner of the park grounds. The park is scattered with good shade trees and there are trash cans located throughout the park."
