Visitors consistently praise Fair Hill NRMA for its extensive trail system, beautiful natural scenery, and friendly, helpful staff. The park is a popular spot for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, with many appreciating the peaceful atmosphere and opportunities for photography. Some visitors note that navigating to the office can be a bit tricky and that parking fees may apply during special events.
"I purchased a Maryland State Parks pass here. It's good at any state park in Maryland. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and informative. Some state parks have an unmanned gated entrance which requires a swipe card. I was informed of this when purchasing the pass and am very appreciative for that attention to detail. It has saved me from an unexpected and unwanted surprise upon arrival at one of these parks. The staff also informed me of a few upcoming events being hosted at the park
As a hobbyist photographer this essentially informed me of a few promising photo opportunities. I'm sincerely appreciative of the welcoming and informative staff. Thank you Fair Hill NRMA."

"My wife and I did the Orange Trail yesterday. This was our first time at Fair Hill. We are not from MD.
I ran into a medical issue while hiking back toward our vehicle. My wife called the Park number and shortly thereafter multiple Park rangers came to my rescue. They were so polite, pleasant and helpful. The second ranger escorted the ambulance to the general location. The paramedics were also very polite and helpful.
Visitors must pay to park at the Lot off of Rt 273. As such, I ordered a golden lifetime pass this morning, as we hope to return again. There are several other trails besides the Orange to explore."

"I was out hiking and lost my wallet. Someone dropped it off here at the park office and these awesome people mailed it back with everything intact. Awesome hiking, even better people. Thanks a million! There were irreplaceable pictures that I am very thankful to have back!"
