"Taking a walk down memory lane. Was a member until about 7th grade. Remembering Christmastime at the church with the living creche, ornaments from Sunday school and my Grandfather Derreth's advent wreath. William Edward Derreth was my Dad's father and he had constructed the wreath many years ago. He also had help to build an old playhouse on the grounds, but no longer there. Sunday school had so many fond memories. As an adult, I drive by each year and reflect. Such an inviting presence and a gorgeous church. Sometimes when there I wish I could close my eyes and go back,....if only. Miss it and the warm memories shared there with my family ⛪"
