What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the incredible opportunity to see numerous wild black bears up close in a natural setting. The sanctuary's educational aspect and the bears' desensitization to humans are frequently praised. Some find the admission price a bit high, and occasional crowds during peak times or feeding events can detract slightly from the experience.
"Amazing place. The prices are a bit high, but it is worth it when supporting such a beautiful wolf sanctuary. The wolfs were very desensitized to humans and would come right up to the glass to say hello. Their "enclosure" is incredibly spacious and beautiful. The wolfs are well taken care of here, and the experience was very much worth it!
The wolf pups were also part of the tour, so we were able to get close to where they were staying."
Kyree King
"Well done modern building with awesome displays for all ages + hands on things for the mini humans to explore. Auditorium is nice and airy, speech was 10/10. Pups are still on the small side (August '25) so that was an added bonus.
Edit; came back for the Sat night (roadkill) feeding which was a tad extra $ but was really interesting to see how wolves behaved and who ate what."
Rachel Frank
"A beautiful wolf lovers dream land. You can see a small pack of wolves in a safe area. The staff was wonderful. I could have stayed all day if not for other arrangements. It is worth a visit if you are in the area."
