"Perfect fall day to walk the grounds of this religious site. Recommend the quick detour off Route 15. Bathrooms are located inside the visitor center/shop. First parking lot has plenty of room, the upper parking is limited and should be used for those with accessibility♿️ needs."

"Must see shrine in Maryland. Features a spring that you are able to use to fill vessels. Bronze and stone work stations of the cross, mosaic art works of each of the mysteries of the rosary. A glass chapel where Holy Mass is said and where confessions can be heard. And of course the golden statue of the Blesed Virgin that can be seen from rt 15. There's plenty of parking a short walk from the gate. There is a shuttle provided for those unable to easily walk to the gate."
Gio Russo
"What an incredible place and the view from the top is just nothing short of stunning! Not only the journey up Route 15 to the shrine and grotto, but the walk through the gardens with the stations of the cross as well as many places to stop and pray to the Saints before you get to the actual grotto… it was just magnificent. On the way back down the path, we stopped and fill containers with the holy water that had been blessed. Plan on making a day of it, make sure to bring water, plenty of water and some snack, snacks or lunch and catch the view."
