What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Englewood Beach is widely loved for its abundant shark teeth and beautiful sunsets, offering a more relaxed vibe than busier Florida beaches. Visitors appreciate the free parking and clean shores, though some note challenges with crowds and limited shower facilities. It's a treasure trove for beachcombers and a peaceful escape for many.
"My family and I enjoyed our time here looking for shells and shark teeth. It wasn’t too crowded the couple times we came. The sand wasn’t littered. Nice live music from across the street. Parking was easy.
Was a little disappointed there were no feet was areas."
Lynn Singer
"Beautiful beach (when you manage to find parking)! Always crowded in season and with great weather. To avoid circling the parking lot for upwards of an hour, show up early. Despite the crowds, the beach has always been clean and well maintained. There are several showers for your feet/sand along the boardwalk."
Aaron
"Horrible experience 😤
The sand is mostly sticky shells and there's not a single shower or hose available. The bathrooms are portables.
If you just want to walk around the beach then this is for you but there's no way to clean yourselves so prepare for hours ride home filled with sand."
