What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Children's Museum for its engaging, hands-on exhibits that captivate children of various ages. Highlights include the extensive water table, imaginative play areas, and creative construction zones. While generally well-received, some visitors note that younger toddlers might get bored easily if not actively engaged.
"The museum was pretty good! We’ve visited lots of children’s museums along this coast and always enjoy exploring something new and different. This museum had something none of the others we've been to had—a woodwork station where kids could hand-drill holes in wood, hammer in nails, and grind pieces of wood.
They also had some creative painting ideas for kids, including a paint spinner. You insert a piece of paper, close the lid, pour paint into the opening, and when it's done spinning, you let it dry—very cool! Kids could also draw on windows using wet chalk, which was a fun and unique activity.
The dinosaur exhibit was another highlight. The kids loved building their own dinosaurs. Overall, it was a really fun and hands-on experience that the kids truly enjoyed."

"First visit here and well worth the drive from Ohio. Brought my 3 yr old grandson and would give it 10 stars if he could. His imagination was on overload, there was so much to do. His favorite thing by far was the water table and pirate ship downstairs, we spent over an hour just there. The mock grocery store, restaurant, and vet clinic were also big hits with him. If you are thinking about visiting you should stop thinking and make the trip. We will absolutely be back."

"This was an amazing experience. My two boys loved it. I have a 7-year-old and a 9-year-old and they thought it was amazing and I enjoyed myself as an adult"
