"I visited the Erie Amtrak Station about a year ago. And at that time at least, the most pleasant part of the entire experience was how friendly and helpful the attendant was. The friendliness of the attendant alone puts this station way ahead of other similar smaller stations. As for the station itself though, it's quite small and without the attendant it wouldn't have been as welcoming as it was. But the station is kept quite clean as far as I can tell. It just needs a bit more updating/renovating and modernization.
Regardless though, this station gets the job done and it's better than not having a station."
