"My family and I have only been twice and we’ve ventured into different parts every time. It’s extremely serene and peaceful. The diversity in wildlife and vegetation make for an exciting visit full of moments made to tea h our children more about plants and wildlife habitat. We love traveling by to and exploring the Rydell National Wildlife Refuge."

Michael Boyd

"Wonder when the visitor center and store is open. No sign of workers other than the 20 trucks.
Awesome area of prairie and lake wetlands.
Saw almost all tropic levels from the trails, only missed bear and smaller than a millimeter."

Frederick Burke

"I only made it 3/4 of a mile in before a thunderstorm rolled in, but it was pretty and peaceful. A good place for a nice quiet hike along paved trails, and it Minnesota so there is no significant elevation change. I will definitely be back, however, this little guy that came home with me won't be."
