What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Eugene Science Center for its engaging, hands-on exhibits that captivate children and adults alike. The planetarium shows and rotating exhibits are highlights, and many find it particularly well-suited for autistic children. While generally well-received, some note that the space is compact and can get crowded.
"Went to the Eugene Science Center for a birthday party and it kept my autistic son very engaged. He’s not even like that at Round 1. Love the interactive exhibits. Clean facility. Party room was large with a hands-on experiment session for the kiddos. My favorite was the walk to and fro the center through the falling cherry blossoms."

"Took the boys on Earth day and got in free and a free planetarium show. I was pleasantly surprised with how much time my boys wanted to be here. Spent a couple hours playing with all the cool hands on science exhibits and watched a cool planeterium show about satellites. Highly recommend if you have inquisitive children that love to touch things while learning."

"My 4yo & 8yo refused to leave! We have an ASTC Passport membership and visit a LOT of science and children's museums across the U.S. so I assumed we'd spend a few minutes here and they'd be done. Nope! They LOVED it here! Yes, they have some of the same exhibits you might have seen at other museums, but they also have lots of stuff you definitely haven't. It is a lot of fun stuff packed into a small area, probably best for ages 3-10 but adults will enjoy a lot of these exhibits too!"
