Do you have land/field that you allow my little dog to run around in?
A year ago I adopted the cutest little red healer. Because she is a cattle dog, she doesn't do well at dog parks (she tries to herd the other dogs), and she just doesn't get enough exercise going on leashed walks. Every time we find a secluded field or beach, she'll run full…
Any suggested hiking trails that will be easy on a dog who's having a hard time walking?
I just found out that one of my dogs has lymphoma and not a lot of time left so I just wanted to try to give him the best finals days as I can and get him out there to see as much as possible before his body deteriorates too much to enjoy those things. He's already having a hard…
🐶 Dog Etiquette
Respect leash rules & other visitors. Conflicts can arise, so be mindful of reactive dogs. 🐕
📸 Photo Opportunities
Abundant scenic spots for family photos and nature shots. Capture memories year-round! 📷
Off-leash dogs on Eugene trails
If you're not on a trail that is specifically leash free, use of a leash is a legal requirement. Don't use a leash, and you're exposing yourself to liability for harm that occurs when your dog interacts with others.

Visitors rave about the stunning views from Mount Pisgah and the incredible diversity of trails, from challenging mountain climbs to peaceful riverside walks. The park is a beloved spot for photography and nature observation, though parking fees and occasional dog-related conflicts are noted drawbacks.
"I tried trail#1, it’s a bit steep, so people might find it a bit challenging. Great exercise though! The view was awesome on the way! Would love to see other trails in this area too😁"

"This place offers a wide variety of diversity in types of hiking available. You can choose to hike in the fields, woods, forests, next to the river, or in wetlands. There are wide fairly flat paths that could accommodate wheelchairs. There are steep Meandering paths through forests, and fields up the mountainsides with beautiful views overlooking the valley containing Eugene."

"A lot of paths to walk. You'll never get lost. Go up the mountain to reach the peak of Mount Pisgah. Stay on the lowlands to walk along the river. Lots of doggie poop garbage cans everywhere. The volunteers are so nice to pick up the dog poop bags for us. Do yourself a favor and just by a $20 Lane county parking pass. Then you can visit all the Lane county Parks and not fear getting a violation ticket."
