"This is an interesting transition trail that goes from Franklin Boulevard to the Footbridge that goes up and over to the North Bank path. It contains an underpass underneath the railroad tracks. There is graffiti on the concrete walls. I would say about half the time it seems to smell under the bridge because of people hanging out. In this area, I travel a lot, even at night time and I have never had issues with any of the people that stay in this area along the bank. During the day and evening, I'd say I see people probably 1/3 of the time. At night time it is almost zero people. The people seem to keep to themselves. I am female and I feel decently safe. Along the path on the side away from the river, there is a 5 ft thick pipe that runs along the path for about 50 yards. It's quite overgrown and covered with moss which is an interesting feature to see. Where there's the Crossing underneath the railroad tracks there is some type of pump system that seems to always be going. There is a sign out in the water saying there is a submerged pump so avoid swimming in this area. I do not recommend this area for swimming. The other side of the river is better with sandy small spots that are like private beaches. This spot is good for getting a good downward momentum from both directions to whip yourself up and out the other side on a bicycle or something with wheels. It's nice and green and stays cooler during the summer."

"new graffiti every month, it's always pretty cool and unique especially in the tunnel underneath the railroad tracks. It keeps getting painted over but that just means it's a new canvas. Great for taking photos"
