What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Imagine Children's Museum for its extensive, engaging, and well-maintained exhibits that cater to a wide range of ages up to 12. The recent remodel and expansion have been particularly well-received, offering even more for slightly older children. The friendly staff and the variety of activities ensure a fun-filled day for the whole family.
"We love coming here. We come here 3 times a week. The staff is friendly, great toy/activity selection. Only equipment I would change is the outdoor wooden playground. There are certain spots where kids get their head banged on. Its hard to see and almost everytime I come here a kid gets their hand banged on."

"Wowww! Haven’t been to the museum since the remodel! It is so cool now! Plenty of hands on experiences for all different ages! Has rooms for three and under, but as long as you keep an eye out on your little, they have the whole place to explore. Three stories of activities, with a cafeteria on the top floor and food available to order! Has an outdoor area with even more things to do. Depending on your child’s energy levels, you could honestly be here all day without running into the “I’m bored” whine."

"Awesome spot, Love the expansion they did a few years ago. Makes it even better for slightly older kids now too. Both my 5-year-old and 9-year-old love coming here. We are "early birds," so we got there about 10min before open, get a good parking spot for 4hrs, wrap up around 1230-ish. Then we love heading over to Brooklyn Bros. for a slice of pizza. Highly recommend, awesome to see them do well/expand."

Engaging Exhibits for All Ages
The museum constantly updates its offerings, sometimes featuring temporary exhibits like the Doc McStuffins exhibit mentioned by visitors. This commitment to fresh content ensures that repeat visits are just as exciting as the first. The interactive nature of the exhibits means children are not just passive observers but active participants in their learning journey.
Beyond the indoor attractions, the rooftop playground provides a fantastic space for kids to burn off energy in the fresh air. This outdoor element adds another dimension to the museum experience, making it a comprehensive destination for family fun. The variety ensures that children of different ages and interests will find something captivating.
Community and Impact
The museum actively fosters essential skills such as socialization, collaboration, and communication among children. By providing a safe and stimulating space, it allows kids to interact with peers, learn to share, and develop problem-solving abilities through imaginative play. This focus on holistic development is a key reason for its popularity among parents.

Navigating the Museum: Practicalities
The museum's layout across three stories is well-designed, but it's worth noting that the outdoor wooden playground has some areas where children can bump their heads, a point mentioned by some reviewers. This is a minor consideration in an otherwise highly-rated experience. The availability of a cafeteria on the top floor is a convenient amenity for families needing a break and a meal.
For families with very young children, the dedicated toddler zones are a significant plus, offering a secure and engaging space. The general consensus is that the museum is clean, fun, and offers a wide variety of activities that can keep children entertained for hours, making it a worthwhile trip even if it requires a bit of travel.
