Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Northwest Stream Center a delightful urban oasis with a beautiful, accessible boardwalk through wetlands. The nature store is a charming addition, and supporting the Adopt-A-Stream Foundation is a strong draw. However, some find the fish viewing area murky, the boardwalk can be slippery when wet, and the limited hours, especially Sunday closures, are a drawback.

"This nature walk is delightful.
There are some shaded portions of their boardwalk that have gotten a bit funky with algae or something that can make it a bit slippery, and I suggest only going on dry days if you have any mobility impairments.

Their artificial stream/fish viewing area is unfortunately skippable. Every time I’ve looked it’s been so dirty/murky there was nothing to see. I feel that it could be better maintained.

Their hours are also a bit limited and I really wish they were open on Sundays as that is usually the day my family likes to go on nature walks.

But I love the walk and I love supporting the foundation through membership and their cute little shop."

Allie M

"Such a beautiful trail/walk! The gift shop at the end is fun to look through as well!"

Sofie L

"Worth the drive! The elevated path lets you see inside a stream.
There are cattails, skunk cabbage or "swamp lanterns", moss, mushrooms, dragonflies and more. The air is clean and refreshing."
