"We really enjoyed this place. The narrator was good but not too friendly when you tried to talk to him on a personal basis. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. Even though some of their staff could use some coaching on friendliness."
Jonathan Clark
"We had a fun, informative time on the tour. Learned a lot about the pipeline and gold mining. The guide did a great job describing both processes. Took a short train ride to the panning area and gift shop. Panning was fun, and the gift shop had a great selection with good prices. Complementary hot drinks and cookies. Staff was helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed it. All undercover if it rains.Large parking lot."
Dennis Pohle
"The Gold Dredge 8 tour was very well organized to handle so many people at once. We had a quick lesson about the pipeline by someone who had helped build it back in the 70s. He was very knowledgable and humorous. We took a short train ride to the dredge area that was also narrated by the same person. We were each given a bag of dirt and taught how to pan for gold. 3 people got nuggets on our trip. We got numerous flakes. It was really cool. We then had time to either make something with our flakes (jewelry, magnet, etc.), visit the gift shop (VERY reasonable prices), have free hot chocolate or coffee and cookies, and/or explore the dredge. HIghly recommend this tour!!"
