What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the electric atmosphere at Providence Park, especially during Timbers and Thorns soccer matches, highlighting the passionate fan base and unique game-day traditions. The park itself is appreciated for its shaded playgrounds and trails, offering a pleasant community space. Some find parking challenging and expensive on event days.
"A cute little park behind an apartment complex. Has porta potties available (one of which is disability friendly) in the parking lot and the lot itself is a good size. Two climbing gyms, tennis courts, a soccer field, two swing sets with four swings each (one set has two baby swings) and a large covered pavilion with many picnic tables. Small trails loop around the soccer field and tennis courts and there are trash cans available everywhere including on the trail. Very pretty and we will be visiting again!"
Emily Swanson
"A shady playground which makes it ideal during the summer. It can get buggy and especially if you go into the wooded areas, but the large field and tennis court areas provide other open areas if you don't mind sun.
We have a mixed age range and absolutely love playing at this playground. We have come at least weekly for the past 3 years and plan to keep it going."
Shannon Zish
"This park consists of a large field and two playgrounds as well as tennis courts and a couple of paths that you can take for a nice stroll. There always seems to be people here and I love that they added a throne bathroom. There's also a pavilion that is covered which you can rent out through the City of Fairfax. Plenty of parking available, too."
