"Beautiful park. Perfect for birthday parties or other event. It is usually crowded nevertheless there is still a lot of space. Good place to take kids or just yourself fishing. There is a very nice fishing pier. There are two enterances there left and right of the pier. It also stretches out for a good distance and has few covered areas. Some picnic areas have fish cleaning stations. Plenty of playgrounds and a water playground. You do have to pay to get in"

"First time I have been here. Very large park with plenty of tables for lots of families. The bathrooms are clean, the grounds are nice. There is a few playgrounds that are nice. Looks like you can rent some canoes to row around in the water. I, myself, did not. I prefer land."

"The family and I have been going here over 60 years,Alot has changed, like everything in the world. The grounds are clean. The Swimming area is Completely Gone, they have replaced it with a wrap around dock that people fish from. They used to have a Huge Metal Talking Pig that was a Trash receptacle and every time you put trash in it would talk! It was pretty cool and encouraged kids and adults to throw away your trash instead of leaving it lie around like lots do unfortunately. The wood xylophone is broken and has been for awhile so not sure if the park is maintained much as far as those things."
