What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Trunk Bay is widely celebrated for its breathtaking beauty, often ranked among the world's best beaches, with crystal-clear waters and a unique underwater snorkel trail. Visitors appreciate the serene lagoon and the overall picturesque scenery. However, some find the beach narrow, rocky, and crowded, with limited parking being a common complaint.
"I laugh at the 5 star reviews. This beach is very narrow and lacks sand. It's all rocks and broken shells and you need shoes to walk on it. Granted the view is nice, but it has very little parking and swarms of people from the bike trail are everywhere. Much better beaches in the area."

"My favorite beach on the cape! It’s never too crowded, nice and long so you can just keep walking, and a good place for sea glass hunting. Many people let their dogs off leash since you have to climb down the rocks to get there, and I love to see the dogs running through the water. A great place to spend the day."
Zoe Silvia
"Cool beach! Limited parking with a porta-potty. It has lots of large (fist size and smaller) rocks, and runs along the bike path. There is a little river with a very short trail to explore."
