"Lake Sequoia Park (or Trails, depending on who you ask) has 1,400 acres of land and 389 acres of water. Originally was a water supply for Fayetteville until the Beaver Water District project. Lots of trails and places to sit and relax or watch nature.
Featurs hiking, fishing, and picnicking although very limited picnic tables but plenty of ground space. hiking. Lots of easy to navigate trails with beautiful views of the lake. Lots of birds population, including Great Blue Heron, American Bald Eagle and Belted Kingfisher.
The road out needs maintenance and the trails could use some clearing.
Please pack out what you pack in, every trip I take i come back with trash.

I’ve saved 2 fishes that were laid out on the rocks still somehow breathing, found a decapitated snake, a very weird white thing in the water that should be on some Reddit post.
