Hey y'all, Are Spence and San Antonio the two best hot springs in the area? I was planning to make the long drive to San Antonio hot spring tomorrow, but some recent Google reviews said the spot was trashed and overrun :( Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks :)

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Faywood Hot Springs is praised for its deeply relaxing and therapeutic mineral waters, offering significant relief for ailments like arthritis. Guests appreciate the rustic charm, friendly staff, and the availability of private pools and RV sites. While some facilities, like fencing between pools, could use updates, the overall experience is highly positive, with many visitors planning return trips.
"My partner and I stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave! Hosts were super nice and accommodating. We have our travel trailer and full hook ups worked nice! Hot springs were nice and warm and cleaned regularly. Laundry facilities worked well, and enjoyed the clubhouse for dishes and sense of community. The peacocks 🦚 were cool and fun to watch! Pathways were nice and lighted. We have dogs and the property had lots of thorns but to be expected in the desert. My only suggestion would be to create a small dog park or run. You have so much space and would be an extra benefit for guests! We will be back very soon! Thanks!"

"It has a rustic charm. They require a reservation, but I just happened to be in the area. So I gave them a call to check availability. They had no problem getting me in. My tub was clean and the water was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I had not had a very pleasant day, but stopping for a soak turned it around."

"Went on a Sunday afternoon for a few hours. Very quiet, only seen 2 other people the entire time.
Front office guy was very friendly.
I paid for a tent site, even though I didn't stay the night, that way you can use the public pools as long as you want. I only went to the 2 clothing optional areas. One is more outdoors, the other has a bathroom and fence around the area.
I enjoyed my time."
