Reviews Summary
The Palace Saloon offers a charming, historic atmosphere with live music, making it a lively spot, especially late at night. While some find the drinks and service disappointing, others enjoy the unique decor and fun vibe, making it a worthwhile stop for a taste of Florida's oldest bar.
"Visited the Palace Saloon, known as the oldest bar in Florida, and while the historic, woody atmosphere and live music were definitely charming, the experience didn’t live up to the hype.
We sat at the bar and asked the bartender for their signature cocktail — hoping to try the best of what they offer. Unfortunately, the drink was disappointing and overpriced. It lacked flavor and balance, especially for a place with so much history and reputation.
Cool vibe and worth a quick look if you’re into history, but we won’t be coming back. There are better spots on the island for cocktails and overall experience."

"Drinks ok, service ok, place was lively and fun! There are three rooms you can maze through both with their own vibe. The live music is fun and they have Pool tables etc. Cool place! I like it. Fun place to hang out with a group of friends."

"A very cool place to come after dinner for drinks and music. Known as the oldest in FL, it’s not as five “bar-ry” as it could be … modern, clean and hip in all the right ways for a bar. The night we were there it also had really great music."
